Vacation Bible School (VBS) at Parkwood Baptist Church
Vacation Bible School is one of the most exciting events of the year at Parkwood Baptist Church! Held during the summer, VBS is a fun-filled weekday program designed for children, featuring a variety of activities that inspire and teach the love of Jesus.
What to Expect:
- Bible Lessons: Each day, children will explore engaging Bible stories that help them understand God’s love and how to apply Biblical truths in their lives.
- Arts and Crafts: Kids can unleash their creativity with fun crafts that tie into the daily Bible themes.
- Music: Uplifting, energetic songs help reinforce the lessons of the week, encouraging children to praise and worship in a way that’s fun and memorable.
- Games: Outdoor and indoor games provide an opportunity for kids to burn off energy, build friendships, and work together in a spirit of fun and camaraderie.
- Snacks & Food: No day is complete without tasty treats to keep the kids energized and ready for more activities!
Who Can Join:
All children up to 5th grade are welcome to participate in this exciting summer adventure. Whether your child has been attending Parkwood regularly or is new to our community, VBS is a great way for them to connect with other kids and learn more about Jesus in a fun and relaxed environment.
VBS 2025
We had a blast learning, laughing, worshipping, and making memories together at our 2025 VBS. We had record breaking attendance and also raised over $260 for Operation Christmas Child thanks to your generosity! Thank you to all the families, volunteers, and kiddos who made the week so special! We couldn't have done it without you. We had such a great turnout for our 2024 VBS. Parkwood would like to extend a special Thank You to all the leaders & volunteers who helped out during the week. Also, a huge thank you to all the children who attended and "dove into God's word" with us. We hope to see you back next year!
